Hey Mods, is it possible to disuss a mobile version of this forum with the owner? If this is built with myBB, phpBB or any other standard database structure, it would be relatively easy and NO COST to convert this forum into a mobile formatted forum/app for all platforms.

I know I would have way more interaction using an iOS app over the browser on my iPhone. Just a thought!

Great thanks! ForumRunner converts for free and Tapatalk in a simple cross platform mobile app.

Can you explain what the benefits would be? I've been asked, and -of course - I'm clueless!!! LOL!! turn

One major benefit would instant notifications of new threads, posts, and replies. Another benefit, text would be formatted to screen size. I am currently typing this on iPhone with a 3.5" screen and I have constantly scroll around page just to look at forum, as well as zoom in and out. So if it was formatted for various screen sizes, the site would auto adjust and no zooming required.

All users would benefit on any mobile device, phone, table, laptop, etc…

Well I'm told by the other Mods from the other forums here that we don't have a mobile version and that you would have to take this up with our Admin - Peter. He's a really great guy (why else would he not only create this site, but keep providing for it to continue? LOL!) and I'm sure he would listen to your suggestions, especially if you can make it a compelling one!

There is a tab at the top of the forum in the same blue bar as the Log off/log on button that says "Admin". Just click on that and you will be able to send him an email and present your suggestions!

GREAT idea, LearnLyme! I use the site primarily on my Iphone. It can get tricky.

It can get extremely tricky. I am not always near desktop/laptop, so I have to rely on my smartphone 95% of the time.

Traveler: I will email Peter and just give him so information. I think a responsive interface is the BEST that would suite all viewer's needs. Thanks!

I wish this was a mobile version because I use my cell phone 90% of the time and desk computer 10% since I am a single working mom on the go all the time it would be so helpful if I was able to see this on my phone in a better formatted type of screen sizef for a phone. It would be such a great way to stay in touch for me!
CD-57 came back at a very low "16" in November of 2012
Blood work from Igenex came back negative in July 2013 with positive bands on IgM for 41 and 66 and IND on 34 and 83-93 and then IgG postive on 34 and IND on 41
have positive for mycoplasma pneumonia,
ANA positive and speckled 1:320 LUPUS??? September 2013
tried rifampin and minocycline for 3 months, now taking byron white protocol

Okay, so Admin just commented on this - and don't hold anyone to this, but:

"no there isn't a mobile version yet. I'm hoping to do that this year. Basically make the site "responsive" so that it adjusts based on your screen / device size. Stay tuned."

We have such an awesome Admin!!! smilewinkgrin

I'd use these forums more often if it were Tapatalk compatible. It's a much better system than a simple mobile version.

Tapatalk is great, anything would be better to look at on a small phone screen, lol
