Those who have taken oil of oregano. What were your herx symptoms like?

Started a week ago through a holistic doc and I'm having extreme dizziness

I don't have any experience with it personally, and when that happens I check our archives. It's a strong herb and it's recommended to start very low dose on it, but I didn't read any actual details of what the herxes were like.

If it is a herx, and I say this often, generally it is very like what your symptoms are that you are taking it for already, only stronger.

I would back off the dosage, de-tox for ammonia build up more, and move up on dosage a little slower.

I've taken oil of oregano. My herx symptoms were fairly mild: a little anxiety, some moderate dizziness, a slight headache. Also had some explosive poos [sorry if that's tmi]. And if I didn't take it with food, I had a little burning in my stomach. I'm super sensitive to most everything I take, but I was fine with the oil of oregano. I did start out very slowly though with just a drop, and gradually worked my way up to capsules.

4x daily? 4 capsules, or 4 drops? If it's capsules then extreme dizziness is probably not going to be your only herx symptom cause that is a lot of oil of oregano to start out with.
