I have just been diagnosed with hypoactive thyroid, and I'm wondering if anyone has found this condition associated with migraines.

When I first started getting migraines, my doctor ran tons of blood tests and one can back saying I have a hypoactive thyroid. I am not sure if it is associated with migraines but they both showed up at the same time. I did ask my doctor when I was diagnosed with the hypothyroid if this is what is causing my headaches and she said they could be. But I have been treated for three months with synthroid and my headaches/migraines have not improved but I am really bad at taking my medication the right way and on time, so my levels might still be off. sorry I couldn't have been more help.
