Hi,
I had a rather nasty fall two weeks ago and I managed to knock myself out. I came to after a while with a large cut to the back, right side of my head. I was not vommiting, had no blurred vision or anything that made me worried. I am starting to worry now though, as,I have pain in the area surrounding the wound. Its not an unbearable pain, just more annoying. It seems to be about inch around the cut. I also am feeling that my head is sometimes numb. I cannot really explain. except, it feels like I am sometimes feeling my head through a dressing, even though they isnt one. Should a head wound feel like this two weeks after? Could I have done some serious damage? I have not yet sort medical advice as I do not like to tie up resources and would feel silly if they said it was nothing.
Thankyou

you could have an infection in the wound.  You should get medical advice because it could be simple to treat with antibiotics and if you leave it untreated and it is an infection then it could become more complicated.
