After 10 years of migraines, allowed only 2 to 3 imatrex a week, and have then when the migraines come in cycles of days (lately 6 in a row) so Im constantly at the doctors office or hospital for shots of tordal, compizene & benedreal wer given to me in a couple of shots fotreatment.  It cost a fourtion and took a lot of other peoples tiime, needing a driver uf guven shots.  Anway, I say the new Intern at my Dr.office today and he perscribed a torodol pill I couold take at home so I won't have to go see a doctor just to get a shot when the imatrex doesn't work and I've already taken my limit of 2-3 for the week.  Then he simply doubled my blood pressure meds ( metroprolol) which could have been done ages ago.
ThakGod I got in to see the Internisttoday as my appointment with the neurologists isn't till Jan 13th.
I got rid of my migraine to day without going into see a doctor for th first time when it hit me around dinner ditme and the dr.s office was closed.
I just don't understand what stopped those other doctors I seen in the past (and there has been many) haven't done this with my medication for home by now?  I must have been seen repeadeatly by the same few Dr.s
over and over.  Good thing it is such a beautiful world or it would just be too unfair.
Sicerely Releived Finally,

Definitely agree

Usually I can go get a shot of Gravol ( dimenihydrate) sp.........and that will calm my migraine
Sometimes I do have to take the demorol .............not often though
I carry a card signed by my doc that I suffer from Cluster migraines and am treated very decently at hospital IF I have to go

Happy to hear you have been w/o a migraine..........
