Hemiplegic Sufferer first diagnosed at age 24.  Typical severe form that paralyzes left side and leads to a coupl eof seizures and passing out.  Lasts 4 - 12 hours per episode.  sometimes with pain of headache and sometimes without.
Recently I got engaged and my fiance said I was breathing very hard and rapidly in my "sleep" and that he tried to wake me and was unsuccessful.  He almost called for an ambulance, but said after I had a couple of stiff body events my breathing went back to normal.  He reported as he awoke me that he was trying for several hours to wake me, with no success.
Has anyone else had nocturnal migraines like this?
Is loss of consciousness common in hemiplegia?  I get it almost with every episode.
