Hi
So sad to see so many people from these invisible curses... GRRR mad
I've been getting classic aura migraines all my life and since last year i've been getting these really long lasting, hot feeling head aches that can last for 2 weeks plus! Sometimes i get some relief from them in the morning but seem to creep into my life by early afternoon. Anyway enough about me...
I spoke to a regular migraine suffer who went to a chiropractor for aches and pains from bowling (he does lawn bowls for England and he's in his 30's!)
While there he mentioned his migraines and received some manipulation treatment and said he hasn't had a head-ache for 8 weeks and he was getting them 3-5 times a week!
Has anyone else tried this? Has it made any difference?
I had acupuncture before but got bigger head=ache at price and am desperate for any help or info!
Thanks so much, head pounding and hot!
sad

I have chronic daily migraine as well as cluster feature, and several other types too; I've been going to a chiropractor for 6 or 7 years now and it does help. Does it make mine go away like your friend? no, but it does help and its a non-drug therapy, much depends on the cause of his head pain.

Acupuncture did nothing for my head pain, but I tried that as well.

Actually it depends on what kind of migraines you have. I had a primary doc one time, he was a DO. A DO is a primary physician and chiropractor all in one. I had this weird migraine one time, he goes let me check...found my neck was out of alignment and aligned me back. You can have migraines for different reasons. Allergies, Misalignment, Stress, Long Hair (honestly), Medical problems, etc. So my suggestion is to find triggers. Which reminds me, I should make a post on how to find triggers :)

If you find your triggers, you will find out your migraines will decrease
