Burning sensation in my head

Lately I’ve been concerned about my health. I just turned 23 years old and have a beautiful 9 month old son (I assume every little detail helps when trying to figure something out) LOL! Well it has been almost two years now that I’ve been experiencing this very unpleasant sensation of burning inside my head. It’s more frequent now and way more uncomfortable as it turned from “hot flash” kindda of feeling (my face and ears turning all red and feeling like I’m burning up) to feeling like having medications injected in your veins but in my brain. This sharp burning feeling (pain) last about 2-3 seconds and then it starts flushing down the back of my head and thorough my neck. Two days ago while in bed ready to sleep I felt this horrible feeling again, when I touched the affected area (right top side of head/scalp) it hurt almost like a bruise and I started to feel nauseous (this was the first time I got nauseous out of the sensation) and my ears started ringing (my ears have been quite sensitive lately) and some sounds seemed very loud. I fell asleep feeling like this and woke up next morning drowsy and clumsy…
I get this sporadically and I have mentioned this before to my health providers but they don’t seem to worry too much about it, well at least the past burning “hot flash” feeling they said it was stress related. I haven’t seen them yet for this last episode because I have to wait till Monday when my clinic opens again, but will certainly schedule my appointment ASAP. I guess I just need to know if I should push it a little more to get the right exams done or should I just relax and assume that it might be my hormones or something acting up after the baby. Any one going through the same situation or similar?

Push and push hard. You have a right to good medical care. We have talked before.
