I had a stroke 3 yrs ago and was lucky enough to be randomized into a study for a PFO closure device 5 months later. I waited until the Dr. told me it was fine for me to begin excercising but as soon as I did I felt a pull on my chest that was frightening. Since I was the 1st participant in the study all my Dr. had to say to me was, "You should be fine to continue." Even if I was "fine" physically, I was a mess emotionally. So I stopped excercising altogether until recently.

I experience discomfort under my left breast when I do anything more strenuous than walk. Has anyone else felt this? I can't find any literature on the subject.

Thank you for reading

Gag - there are some horrid doctors out there! "You should be fine?" That's unacceptable. Unfortunately, as patients, we need to stand up for ourselves more than we should have to - whatever that is, it's not "normal" and it's definitely not "fine" - get a second opinion - asap. My advice.

Best always, friendly
