Hey everyone,

Im new to this forum and I was looking for a bit of advice. I have been experiencing constant numbness on the top right hand side of my head , sometimes it tingles and feels like it is moving to my hairline at the front of my head and down to my ear on the same side. I have no pain at all, went to see the doctor after 4 days of this. He took my blood pressure because I am on the contrceptive pill but it was normal. He said it was a type of neuralgia and that it should go away by itself. Because I do not have any other symptoms he advised that if it doesnt go away in 2 weeks or if I experience any other symptoms to come back. Does anyone know what causes this? I am starting to get a bit worried coming up to 7 days. Would a family history of heart attack ( Mother, grandmother, 2 uncles) stroke ( grandmother) and cancer (grandmother & grandfather, mother had lumps removed from under arm) have any contributions to this numbness?

Any advice is greatly appreciated smile
Thanks

M
