Now that the weather is getting warmer my pain from the daily headaches is getting worse. This usually leads to more migraines. I had very low pain from headaches all winter, of course the fibro pain was worse. I guess I am in a no win situation warm weather=headaches, cold weather=fibro pain. Anyone else get worse headaches or migraines in spring and summer?

I am 21 & have been suffering from Migraine Headache for last 6 years.. every year at the Start of Spring... Mid Apr/May... which last for about 2-3 weeks every year....

Nothing I can do gives me Migraine Headache in winter though.. I am still confused & researching how to tackle this...

How long does your Typical Migraine Headache last?

Usually my migraines do not go away on their own. After a day or two with a bad migraine I usually go see my doctor who gives me a pain shot of demerol, toradol and phenergan then home to bed with an icepack on my head until the pain goes away. How about you? How long do your's usually last? I did have one last year that lasted over a month, nothing would take it away. So that is why now I don't wait too long to go see my doctor. It seems if I let it get too bad it's that much harder to get rid of.

I have had migraines for five or six years now, and warmer weather always exacerbates the condition. I live in California, so the intense heat and bright sunlight do not make me cheery at all. I'm starting to try to adapt this summer by doing more things at night and sleeping during the day, or only planning on doing things during the day that I can accomplish in a dark room, which obviously isn't much. So far we've had a cool spring, but i find the hotter it gets, the more my head hurts.
