I've been coping with migraine for decades.Started out with silent migraine. Then migraine with aura...followed by extreme pain.To ER trips vomiting, convulsing, passing out. Over 4 yrs of being homebound. Not being able to even look outside.
I seem to have a time where my pain level lowered and I was able to function.Go to family outings, run errands, etc. Now, my eyes hurt all the time. Below my eyelids are very swollen, the left is worse.Looks like fluid in it,droops. Sometime effects how I see. Above my eyebrow has been a red patch, the pharmacist thought it was a fungis. The dr seem to agree. I use cream on it,it helps, but I have to keep using it or the patch gets worse.
Both eyes throb now all the time. I've been suffering major fatigue. I get to the point where I will just fall asleep sitting up.My vision can get very blurry. Mornings are the worst. My eyes are so swollen. I'm taking allergy meds, I use a saline spray for my nose and I got the eye drops dr recommended.
I'm limited as I have no insurance. Between it all,it scares me.And I can say, with all the pain I've been thru in the past, this is escalating.I cannot deal with it much more. Lost.

Hi Marylin, welcome to healing well. I am glad you found this site, it is a wonderful place with alot of caring members. I am sorry you are dealing with so much right now. I have chronic daily headaches and migraines myself. I used to get 2 to 3 migraines per week but now I only get them once or twice a month. I do have daily head pain though (I wake up with it and go to bed with it) The mix of meds I am on has brought the pain level down to a 2 or 3 though compared to always being at least an 8 on the pain scale. I also suffer from horrible fatigue, but I have fibromyalgia too, so I am not sure which condition makes it worse. You mentioned that your eyes are puffy underneath, mine are too and have been for as long as I have had the headaches (since I was 18, I am now 41) I never thought that it might be related, hmmm that's something I need to ask my doc. Blurry vision is also a problem for me, in fact I am seeing the eye doctor next week because it seems to be getting worse. Wow, we have alot in common, I wish I had more answers for you, but hopefully some other members will be by soon and they may have more info. Please keep coming back and keep us posted on your situation. Take care.
Gentle Hugs,
Shannon

You need to see a neurologist. Maybe you can find one in your area that will do payment arrangements.
