I went to the Neurologist today and he agreed to split my dosage of Topamax from all at night to am and pm. He increased it another 25 mg so i'm now at 175. 75 in the am and 100 im the pm. He also put me on Trazodone to help me get a better nights sleep. i had informed him that I haven't been getting very much sleep lately and that I keep waking up in the middle of the night and can't fall back asleep. He wants to have me try this for about 4 to 6 weeks and see me back after that. I asked him about the muscle relaxers and he said no. Just gotta keep trying I guess.
And he also had mentioned the Botox injections.
has anyone tried this?

Hi Stacy,

Any success yet splitting the dose of Topamax? I posted a message about Botox to your other message.

Nicky,

Its too soon yet to tell any difference on the splitting of the Topamax. I just started the new dosage and spilt on Thursday the 8th so it's probably gonna take a week or two to get into full effect, at least that is what the Doc said.
