hey

about 6 weeks ago I had a really bad anxiety attack, i went to my doctor and the had a cat scan and blood test. everything cam back great. Then my doctor put my on Zoloft which i only took for about 2 weeks and got off of it because I did not feel like I had anxiety.

Now for the past few days I have had this pressure ontop of my head and the back of my head feels like its in a vice, no really just the feeling. My ears also sometimes hurts like I have a infection, also my throat feels really tense right where my neck and head join. I notice when I layback or laydown I can feel my pulse in the back of my head as it slightly bobs my head around.

also i get a little dizzy and its hard for my to concentrate, I sometimes get chest pains and it is sometimes difficult to breath, my eyes tend to blur and it feels as if i might blackout at any moment but never quit do. my hands also get jittery

I just cant seem to get any answer, do i need a MRI? What can I do to stop this?

thank you

Hey, u should get an MRI just to be safe but i don't think u have anything really to worry about although i know it really sucks as the dizziness, back-head pressure, throbbing and neck tightness is all too familiar to me although my ears have never been affected by a headache. Ive had the CAT and MRI done and it was all clear. It sounds like u suffer from tension- type headache...i cant tell u a way to stop it but i can sure tell u what helps me...a really good message (its tough too find a massage specialist who is really any good, pysiotherapists are alright).. the medication amitriptyline is really effective for these headahces and will decrease your anxiety but it takes about 4 weeks to really kick in, u need to get it prescribed...for short time relief syndol is okay its a painkiller/muscle relaxant which u can get in the pharmacy but dont take it too often as using painkillers too frequently can cause rebound headaches...hope this helps

edit:
