Hello,

Has anyone tried Pavabid and Inderal for migranes. I am told I have "silent migraines"
where my blood vessels are too narrow. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Melani

Hi Melani,

If you google Pavabid you can find some information about the drug. Personally I have not come across this drug as it is a vasodilator (expands the blood vessels). My blood vessels do not need any encouragement to expand they overdo it!!! lol

However I do take Inderal (Propranolol) - I took it for around ten years then had a break and am back on it again now - it is a beta blocker and is good for blocking the messages to the blood vessels to stop them dilating or behaving abnormally. Again google it and find out what you can for yourself, it is always good to check these things out. Some people feel very tired with beta-blockers but in time your body adjusts.

If you are concerned about anything ask your doctor or pharmacist.

Hope this helps, take care Ann.
