I folks,

This is tough for me to be here asking questions, but I need some encouragement or direction. I am 30 yrs old. 6 weeks ago I came down with a serious sinus/bacterial/infection? Doc gave me antibiotics and said I was stressed. I was also experiencing some over breathing for over 3 weeks. I had not seen a DR in over 10 yrs, since I am not USUALY the type to worry about body pains etc. Doctors blew me off and said that I was just suffering from anxiety. I have changed eating habits etc but still was feeling off. I went to  Naturopath DN who said that I had viral infection (but not where) and said that I was in good health, strong, etc. and gave me a natural liquid tincture that is supposed to boost the immune system. Right after this I started feeling foggy-headed and just a bit of dizziness. This has gone on for almost two weeks. This starts after I have been up for 2 to 3 hrs. I had the chiropractor adjust my neck and back, but this has not seemed to help. Right now I have a on again off again dull pressure ached behind my right eye and on the top of my skull on the same side. Not sharp, just dull. I have had problems concentrating, finishing a thought or a sentence (usually when I think about the problems much) and a little eye strain. I do wear glasses (light prescription for nearsightedness and bi-focal) but more often than not I don't. I have also had an occasional popping in my right ear that instantly feels like I have lost hearing (or small pressure build up) with some short term ringing which eventually clears up. I have only an occasional stuffy nose, no teeth pain that I can feel, no stabbing pains in the teeth or head. I did start taking Aleve last night, but I can not tell if that is helping. Can a viral infection cleaning out of my system be causing this? I am taking the following supplements: Magnesium, calcium, omega 3, Vit B-50, pro-biotics,Siberian Ginseng, digest enzymes, physillium husk, GABA, passion and Vit C. I walk several times a week and stay active. I also drink 7-8 large glasses of water every day. Please tell me if I need to worry or not. I have 5 kids and am concerned for their sake as well.

If you are truly worried go to a neurologist and get and exam and ask for an MRI. I do have Migraines and a brain tumor. An MRI will show if you have one and you can discuss your symptoms with an Neurologist.

Hope this helps.

I was diagnosed with migraines 30 years ago and the first thing I thought about was brain tumors. I think everybody does. The doctor assured me that there was no connection and 30 years later she seems to have been right.

I can however tell you that any doctor who blows you off is not a doctor you should be seeing. You need a health professional that you can have some trust in and feel like you have a relationship with so that whatever news you get, you can have some reliance in what is being said.
