Just wondering if anyone here ever has weird feelings on the skin provoked by clothing?  I have migraines and was told by neuro that migraine sufferers are more prone to sensitivities in their environment than non-migrainees. Does this sound crazy to anyone else?

Seechell, does clothing cause you discomfort?  Did you ever have any diagnosis to what causes this?

Not necessarily clothing, but pressure, kinda. I can't really explain it. It feels like everything is swollen, like retaining water. With my arthritis, my hands swell and they hurt, but it's my whole body with migraine. I guess that's the best way to explain it. Am I making any sense?

Hi ya,

Yes, I get skin sensitivity as well however, it's my face, skin on my head......it's like my hair hurts...so weird and neck. It's in areas it's like my skin is so very sensitive to the touch. The other thing I tend to get is my hands swell get hot and ache. I"m alway so very thankful when my hands stop doing that because I make jewelry and I find I can't work during those time periods.

Take care,

yes, yes, yes!!!

I have sensitivity to a simple touch, where something would normally be a light touch now hurts and it is hard to explain to my fiance. Also, from time to time it is painful to brush my hair, wash my hair or wear it up (I have a lot of hair!)

I have spoken to the doctor about this and it is pretty common and related to blood vessels and nerve endings, but it is not something to really worry about (as far as being something more serious)

I could understand maybe the head being sensitive, but the rest of our bodies? I get razor burn feelings all over the place. Is this normal to have these feelings other places other than your head?
