Hi ecveryone well I was migrane free for three months and it felt pretty good. Then I had trouble sleep walking\eating in middle of night without a clue the next day. I mean I put on 2o pounds in the past month, not good . SO I went to my nureo doc and he said the amtripline good very well be causing my sleepwalking. SO had go off meds and make appt with sleep center. But in the meantime my migraines are back. about 4 times a week. Last night it was just about a trip to the hospital. Imitrex inj just wasn`t doing the trick. Ok let me go back about nuro doc he took me off amtripline and kept me on verapmil along with ativian and imitrex for onset of migraine. Now he wants me to go through a sleep study cause I just don`t sleep no matter what I take oh I even have trazodone 50mlg he also wants me stay on verapmil but not start my new med which is vivactil generic name is protripline until my sleep study is over. Ok so my appt is not until July 30 and my migraines are back I gues i`ll have make a phone call. tp://www.healingwell.com/community/posticons/icon8.gif

Your migraines sound about like mine, I have 2-3 a week.  I have alot of pressure in my right eye when i have the migraine, and my head always hurts on the right side.  I just want to push really hard on the right side of my head to try a relieve the pressure, but doesn't quite do the job.

I had brain surgery in 2002, a right temporal lobe lobectomy but not sure if they migraines are even related to the surgery.  I always worry about a brain an. can't think how to spell it, but hope you know what I mean.  And of course you think brain tumor, but I think I would have other symptoms if something more serious then a migraine was the problem.

Wishing you all a headache free day,

MaryZ, Have yu tried Duridrin/Midrin. Ive been on that for quite a while now. It does work for me, though I have also had an Epi-block in my neck last yr. That worked for a few months.
Its extremely expensive mine was $4,000.

I know how bad migraines can be, i actually have been sick vomiting & not being able to keep much of anything in my stomach for 2 days now.
I am so nauseus & sick I havent been able to even go to the docs. I hope I helped some.

Good luck to yous all,
