Six years ago I had a shunt fitted due to hydrocaphelus, I had complications for 2 years and eventually a new slower draining shunt was fitted.  I am now having pressure behind my right eye, I have been in hospital and had a CT scan, Spinal fluid tests, blood tests and opthalmic tests nothing showed what could be causing the pressure.  I was wondering if anyone knew of similar problems and possible diagnosis.

Hi Lugami,

Welcome to Healing Well. Sorry to hear about what you have been going through. We are all sufferers here and do not have any medical expertise and are therefore unable to make any diagnosis!!

Someone may come along who has had a similar experience to yourself, I hope so! Meanwhile if you have any concerns about the pressure behind your eye the best person to talk to is your Doctor.

take care
