Anyone ever take Keppra for migraines?

If so, could you please tell me what side effects you may have had and whether or not this drug worked for you.  My Dr just prescribed this as I could not tolerate Topamax.  I have read both are anti-seizure meds.  I don't have seizures, but wonder how these drugs work for headaches. 
Any help would be appreciated.

I think the topamax website puts it pretty well in saying that it is "believed to help “calm”
overexcitable nerve cells in the brain so they don’t send out the signals that are
involved in migraines."
DX: NDPH, Recovered CRPS
RX: Lamictal, Abilify, Verapamil, Provigil, Clonazepam, Rozerem, Emsam
PRN: DHE IM, Droperidol IM, Toradol IM, Haloperidol, Zyprexa, Lodine, Thorazine, Zofran
