Hey sunshine,

It is good to hear from you again.  I am so glad you are feeling better.  I heard that minocycline can be a bit rough to take - lots of dizzyness.  How has it been for you??? Any side effects???

love and prayers,

Gretchen - well when i first started i took 200mg. which was the m.s. trial dosage but it made me very sick. i waited about 1 month and started at just 50 mg a day and yes i did have nasty headaches for a couple of wks nothing else. after 3wks u bunmped it up to 100mg per day and did fine no problems at all. once my body got use to it i couldnt even tell i was on it. i was taking  it for a total of 2 mths give or take a bit and found out i was preg. sadly i had to stop the minocycline. a wk later i lost the baby so i started it back. ive been back on it for a wk and 1/2 and my headaches are starting to get better. my goal is to get use to the 50mg again then bump it to 100 then 150 then 200mg. so far it has been a blessing for me not to say it would work for all but me im happy and feeling much better.  in a few months i will have another mri and then i should know how well its working on preventing any further m.s. damage. oh keep praying

rhondab -
im very sorry i havent been back sooner : ( it was just easier for me to run than  to face m.s. i have figured out ive had it for at least 4 yrs. my daughter will be 4 this year my symptoms started when she was 6mths old. most women have a relaspe after having a baby i just put 2 and 2 together. im emotionally better now i guess and am willing to except what i cannot change and allow god to work in my life. i know ms or not im very blessed and can still have a long life ahead. i would like to stay around and chat with you guys for awhile : )

Hey Sunshine

Yes ur right...u have to just allow God to work in u'r life and trust that He has everything in control....and He does. I can understand u'r need to try to escape ms...i'd imagine everyone goes thru that at some point...but u'r doing great!! U'r here and u'r aggressively dealing with ms and not letting it win!! U have a sweet family to love and live strong for...and u'r doing it! MS is part of u'r life, no doubt, but it doesn't have to be ur' life. U do and will have to make adjustments all the way along...but u can do that! Just keep u'r eyes open to what is really important and live this life! Welcome back friend!!
