I "ran into" someone on another board -- over where I hang out talking with folks about my dollhouse hobby--

she's a young single mom with a 7 year old boy...recently diagnosed with MS, after years of being misdiagnosed with other stuff.  Familiar to lots of you, I know.  Anyway, she doesn't know much about MS and is desparate to talk with others, so I told her about all of you...no names..just "pleasant, young moms, some experience with MS, etc." kind of stuff... and gave her a link to this forum, in case she decides to come over here.

so if she comes, you all be nice, OK, and don't say anything bad about me!  :)

(should she happen to come tonight...I can't get back here...company is coming and I'll be busy cooking...so be nice! )
...I am not a doctor, nor health professional, and don't pretend to be one, here.....

Absolutely, cats, I've enjoyed my welcome here and believe me I can relate to the years of misdiag's! Hope she makes it over here... I can also relate to not knowing much either.. especially since I thought I knew quite a bit about this! :-)

Hey Uppity!!

WOW...we WELCOME any newbies!!! That's great! When i first began looking for info on MS i came up on many, many sites explaining the 'facts' about ms. I needed to know more...the way things felt and acted as described by those feeling them. I came upon this board accidentally in my search of 'patient stories'. This was the best find!! I hope it's not so hard for others. I'd never been to a forum or other such community and so never thought of this. I wish someone had led me here. We will all be nice and helpful and friendly and say nothing but good things about our friend Uppitycats.
