yeah  Hello all,
The nurse for copaxone came out today and trained me and i did my first injection! How wonderful is that auto injector? LOL, my new best friend. What a difference between subq and Im! I was on the avonex before and i am so happy i switched! I was a bit nervous but once i got it in my hand it was a piece of cake! Had some redness at the site for about an hour and now you wouldn't even know i had a shot! I am psyched! Just wanted to let ya'll know that everything went well, and I am up and rolling! Hope all is well for everyone!!

thoughts and prayers!

Hey Lindsay,

Way to go!!!  I love copaxone.  It is so easy and no real side effects.  So you like the auto-inject!!  That is great news.

Love and prayers,

Hey Lindsay,

Congrats on your first injection.  I love the autoject also.  It is actually so easy my 12 and 16 year old daughters will do it for me.  I have redness and warmth at the site, but both clear up relatively quickly.

Very cool news!  I'm liking what I'm hearing about Copaxone more and more! :-)
The autoject sounds good too, I'm not weird about the shot to myself deal but it'd be nice to know it's always right when it's automatic. Can't go wrong then!

Hoping this does you really good!

Deb,

Lots of folks like that auto-inject, but you should know how to do it both ways.  I prefer manually doing my injections.  I never cared for the auto-inject.  But it is a really Godsend for most.

Love and prayers,

Thanks Gretchen, it's good to know... like I said I can do it but it's also nice to  know there's an auto-thingy to make it easy...

Congrats Lindsay! I’m so glad to hear your first shot went well. Btw, you can ask Shared Solutions to send you an additional autoject, so you have a spare just in case the current one has problems in the future.
