I once had a twitch under my eye for 3 months.  It was totally crazy and very irritating.  I have no idea if it was MS or not.  It went away on its own after a while.

Other than that, I have not experienced the twitching thing too much.

Hey Domanique

Yes, i've had days where everything twitched or jerked. It's a pain in the end, but thankfully not painful! It can be so frustrating, but hang in there. As long as it's not hurting u can make it. Tell the new neuro about this tomorrow along with the other things and let's see what they tell u. Take care friend.

Yes! It is exhausting! I try to explain to my husband how it feels but it is not possible unless you have it.... I also am constantly looking as I feel as though something is crawling up my legs or that there is water dripping on my leg...really strange. I get buzzing in my legs like a vibration from a phone....the all over inside twitchy thing is wierd and sometimes I physically twitch here there and everywhere all day...
Started looking back over all my med records from neuros over the years and all mention deep tendon reflexes is hyperactive in arms and legs. Last appontment I was gabbing away to the neurologist and arms and legs are just flying around like crazy. Do you have this issue. I googled it and it seems pretty common..

Hey Carolyn

I get that buzzing inside too. Most often in my legs, more my right leg. I carry my cell phone with me all the time. If i get a text message it'll vibrate, but many times i don't realize it's my phone. It can feel so much like my legs vibrating. I used to check my phone each time i felt that vib, but then began to realize what it was...so now i miss my phone all too often. Geesh...so frustrating, but thankfully not at all painful. Have u ever had the deep torso vibration? That is much the same, but just really really deep and centered. It's much like how when a cat purrs (or my phone vib's) and just humms along causing no pain either.

Gosh I hear you guys on all these symptoms and it's the same story... I used to jump at the creepy crawlies cos I thought it was a spider... it never was, I was just beating my leg and my hubby would look at me like what in the world? Now I just very slowly look at the site of the sensation and watch NOTHING.

That deep tremor stuff is the weirdest... I didn't know how to explain that or if it was real or just me being weird (like I was afraid the neuro might say it's just my GI tract acting up on me or some danged embarrassment!)

Keep track of the symptoms, tell the doctor, make him do the legwork.

I've gotten very obstinate about that with my neuro. I'm not backing down anymore. I've lived thru so much crud for so long now, it's his turn to figure it out... I'm his mystery. Fortunately, he thrives on the challenge so I'm in really good hands.

Hey rhonda,

My whole body feels as though it is uneasy. It is hard to explain it is an inner movement feeling that is kind of like a hit and miss electrical feeling almost every part of the body has this type of feeling so hard to explain. It is exhausting. There is never a moment I am not tremoring or my head is not moving or something funky is happening. Until I am stronger I am a prisoner at home as I have a hard time getting out with the baby and the baby seat. I have a sister in this country but she works full time. My hubby helps me or I wait till he gets home to watch the little man :) The buzzing stuff is wierd not at all painful just takes some getting used to. When I had a bad patch last year I had the same thing and it just went away as the symptoms changed. This is a long period of ongoing issues this time. I have never had the neurological stuff to this extent. I did some looking back at doctors notes and it makes me very angry. I know it is a wasted emotion and that it is what it is but you know maybe if this is ms I would have been in a better place with treatment. I am hoping that the neuro stuff wears off a little at least. My speech is affected for the first time ever. It is intermittent and I sound drunk. I do not drink....I came off all meds to see if any were making this worse but I guess not. Been a week now and have decided to stay off for a while. If I do not rest in the afternoon everything is so much worse. I find that after an hour or so in the morning I have my best time. I try and do the things that require concentration and speech then. I am a real estate agent and business has been slow but I have a few things going on and need to sound like I am normal. Until I know what the deal is and if this is going to calm down I am wondering if I am going to be able to continue working in real estate. I think I am becoming a little depressed. I am shying away from being around people partly because I am embarassed by the fact I am so tired so entertaining is not fun when you have to pop upstairs to check the baby and lie down for a few!!! Going out is like torture as I am whooped and feel like I can't wait to go home to rest...I wobble and sound so strange!!!!! I know I need to get a grip but I just need the symptoms to calm down. Ok enough griping from me! gosh not like me. I know you guys don't know me yet but I am not usually like this. It is getting really old.
My faith is helping a great deal. I have not been to church for a while. Wasn't sure I liked the church I went to. Feel I need to go back and give it another shot. Not a good time to look for a new one right now.

Hugs to you,

Carolyn
