Hi Everybody,

Well, I saw my rheumy yesterday.  She is still at a lost as to what I have.  She ran more bloodwork and called today to tell me my inflammation rate went from 17 to 41, a 5 is normal, but the sed rate is not elevated.  Proves this isn't in my head, just can't prove what I have yet.

Shoot Debbie, I’m so sorry you’re still not getting any answers. Does your rheumy have any thoughts on where to go from here? That abnormal of a test result combined with the other issues must give them some direction? I wish I had something to say that would help, but know we are here supporting you. (((hugs)))

Sunny,

They don't know what to do with me.  But at least the neuro and rheumy are working together, treating my symptoms, not blowing me off, and are as frustrated as I am.

Lynn,

It is the CRP, a blood test that shows inflammation rate.  The doc said that the strange thing is that the SED rate is not elevated also.  Both tests together test for inflammation.  Doesn't surprise me that the test are different - that's just me.  Anything that is strange, has happened.  At least the docs are trying to treat the symptoms for me.

thanks for being there for me.

Debbie,

I can only imagine how tough this is on you. I’m really glad you have a good team of doctors who are treating your symptoms, and will continue to search for answers. Please continue to let us know how you are doing. Like Lynn, I think of you often and hope you are okay.

Sending you a big bowl of virtual ice cream,

Sunny
