hello everyone. My name is Marie. I've been on the Lupus board for a while but thought I would pop in over here. to make a long! story short, I have a brain MRI today. due to symptoms and tests so far, my dr believes that they are caused either by Lupus of the central nervous system and vasculitis or that I have MS. I have been having numbness in my limbs usually on one side at a time and worse on left, intention tremors (hands and lips tremble on small motor movements but not at rest) My thighs shake sometimes as well. numbness and tingling in hands and feet that is worse after activity. headache and I get the electric shock in my brain if i put my head down and to the left. when this happens my vision twitches ??? every thing looks like it moves momentarily then comes back. also I get a zap, zap , zap in my brain sometimes and my ears go fuzzy when that happens. I also have burning pain beneath my skin that comes and goes. skin feels numb, pain is deep under skin, then it itches like crazy. because I can't feel myself itching I bruise and tear the skin. I've been mostly in bed since May with severe fatigue along with all this. Symptoms, at a lesser degree, started 5 years ago. For the last few months I feel like I'm walking on fake legs. even when I can feel them, they do not feel as if they are under my complete control. very odd sensation. it feels like a permanent case of my legs falling asleep then trying to walk in the pins and needles stage. my legs bounce up a little with each step!

anyway too long of a post - just wanted to intro before I bombard you all with questions and quandaries!
