I was just wondering if any of you have experienced the feeling of being dizzy all the time and some times in the day I feel like I am going to pass out.  I have also noticed that my eyes stay blood shot all the time but that could be because I am always exhausted.

Hi there - ohhhhhhhhhhh yes.....thats more or less how I started out....dizzy, foggy feeling in the head, vision problems, etc. Balance problems....but if did finally go away for the  most part.  One of the things with MS is fatigue, and when I get tired, fatigued, etc...my head gets quite foggy again, but goes away after I have had a nap....

Another method that I use to reduce the dizzy/headfog thing is that I take ativan.....it not only helps with the head fog thing, it also acts as a muscle relaxant, and helps relieve the muscle spasticity that I get in my neck, shoulders and lower back. and it also helps with anxiety that I get ever since I came down with the MS symptoms....

Caution though, the ativan is quite addictive....both physically and psch.....

Hope this helps

Best regards

Gary

Andrea Jane,

Yes, I have chronic vertigo.  It was my presenting symptom.  I have had it ever since.  It never goes away.

Hehehe John.  I am sure that is how your wife felt about you, in fact I am sure she still feels that way about you.

Hey Casey

Passing out is not normal. Have u discussed this with u'r doc?? Being dizzy with MS can be normal, but u shouldn't be passing out. Please let u'r doc know if u havne't already and let us know how u are.
