I am sorry you are not feeling well. Remember, we are not doctors and we can't diagnose you. You have had more than one doctor now say that you don't have MS. Why don't you try treating the anxiety and perhaps that along with any treatment you can get from the NS for the stenosis and compression might get you feeling better. Those two health situations are real and can cause a lot of pain and discomfort. Again, the clear MRI is a really good sign that you probably don't have MS.
I am very sorry to hear about your father. I wish you the very best of luck.
As someone with anxiety, and MS I thought I'd throw my two cents in....
With a clear MRI and two neuros adamant that you don't have MS, I'd say you don't have MS. Your symptoms don't sound like anything I've experienced with MS, except the numb finger, but you have spine issues so I believe that could explain that.
Are you getting any treatment for anxiety right now? Meds or therapy maybe? I think this would be so helpful if you aren't. I can feel the anxiety through your post and I know it stinks so bad! Something to think about.... if I can help, my email address is on my profile.
Best to you and take a deeeeeeeep breath,
Thanks for your support here. I appreciate you information.
Thanks for your insight here as well. I also think that anxiety could be the cause of a lot of this. I appreciate you sharing your experiences with us. I know it takes courage to talk about your health and anxiety issues. You have offered a great deal of support here.
Hi Dowa. I am not being treated for co infections however I did just get tested for some.
I was having awful pains yesterday that I was almost in tears. My middle finger would get a bone crushing pain for a minute, go away, then hit hours later, then my knuckle on my opposite hand got this pain for a few seconds, then back to my middle finger. Whatever it is kept hitting my middle finger on and off througout the day. I feel like the pains are getting worse.
