Hi all,
I myself was diagnosed twenty years ago @ the age of 17 and i know that it is a tough time @ the beginning.
I regulary meet up with other people with the MS condition and had a major relapse in 2005, which put me in a whelchair for 6 months.
I recovered and have full power in my limbs again.
The purpose of my post here today is to let everyone know that i have written a Self Help book for newly diagnosed where i explain my story and explain what i do on a daily basis to counteract this sometimes difficult condition. I explain what i did to fully recover after my major relapse in 2005.

Yours,
Chris Sheridan

Monday p.m.

Hello Chris:

I was dx'ed 20 years ago also....but I was 30 years old....and that was tough to take.

I cannot imagine a dx at that age.

I did not even know what MS was 20 years ago...but...I quickly learned.

And...I have always maintained that no one can appreciate the struggles we face...unless it is another
 patient.  Right?

How do you describe our kind of fatigue?

John

...and are you a male or female Chris?

Not that it matters.  John

Hi Chris

I bought your book 'MS with no fear' recently as my partner has just been diagnosed with MS and I want to understand more about his condition, it has been a very stressful time but I feel reading your book has helped me understand more about MS from his perspective. I found the section on care-giving very useful and feel now not quite so alone in this experience..

Thanks,
Yolanda
