Hello everyone, just has been quite while since I have been here, thought I would come in and say 'Hello' to you and up-date ya.

I have been in really doing well. My balance is hardly an issue and the ON a more rare thing. Muscle not having crazy spasum like they were there for quite some time. I seem to have been doing great UNTIL..........

a week or so ago. As you all know, my left side is my bad side. I have been cycling alot for exercise and I AM HOPING that this new thing is only from that and not MS. My left hip locks up when I am walking ( no, not when I am on my bike). It sometimes stays that way and then returns to normal, back and forth several times a day.

I was reading that cyclist sometimes have tendon/ligament troubles if seat height is not adjusted right. I checked, mine is, but I am not running to the Doctor yet. I have so enjoyed living a fairly normal life recently I had forgotten I even have MS., so why upset the apple cart. I get to see my Neuro Doc again in June and have another fun MRI( just kidding, I cringe at what they will find on them anymore). So unless my pain gets unbearable, I am keeping on, keeping on.

Meanwhile, Spring has sprung and I started seeds in my garden and little greenhouse, am so excited! We are alos getting COWS, this year. Not my idea,,,,hubbys...lol, those of you who know me, know I am the horse gal. Not so sure I want to clean up cow paddys, we shall see.....more on that event later. LOL.

Anyway, I am so sorry I have not stayed in touch, you have all been on my mind and I hope doing well. I will start checkin oin more often. Stay well and Blessed my friends:)
Hugs~Katie

Hi Katie,

I had problems with my left hip when I started jogging when I was 35. So I stopped. All was good for next 10 years then MS got worse. Connected?? I do not know but the left leg is my weakest spot. But I beleive in being out there and enjoying and doing as much as you can. Go for it. Have fun. :-)
Have had relapsing/remitting MS since 10 yrs old. Secondary/progressive since 1995. Baclofen pump since 2008.
Love is a many splendoured thing
