hello everyone.. i was dx with ms in 2007 and have been very lucky with no problems really at all.. over the last week i have had knock me to the ground muscle spasms in my right hand traveling thru my leg.. I have never felt anything like this before. My dr put me on a med and im not sure if its supposed to work right away to make them stop or it takes a while for the med to work.. i cannot stand this and im getting very discouraged.. i have a 1 yyear old and a 6 year old at home that need me and i feel useless to them.. im wondering if there is anything i caan do to make them stop.... shakehead

What med were you put on?  Baclofen?  A lot of people with MS take baclofen for spasticity- not sure if that is what you are talking about?  A lot of times a medication can take several weeks to fully take effect, but that is probably something you should ask your doctor or pharmacist.  I hope you feel better soon, I know it's hard to take care of your little ones with this going on.

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer (Romans 12:12).
