Welcome to the MS forum. I'm sorry you are having so many issues to deal with! I bumped up an old thread for you entitled what a doctor looks for to diagnose MS. It might answer some of your questions.
The presentation of MS varies in the individual, numbness can occur in some folks. Since you are on your second MRI they will compare it to the first one to check for new lesions or growth of the ones you already have. If it does turn out to be worse you could get a dx at that point. If there is no difference between the two they can wait and watch you over time to see if anything new develops or run further testing on you like evoked potentials or possibly a lumbar puncture.
