   Hi Katrina,

I, too, am from New Brunswick. I am almost 55 and it took me a long time to get diagnosed. Had symptoms since the birth of my 2nd child when I was 28. That was in 1980 and took me until I was 45 in 1997 to be diagnosed. Be patient and don't stop until you have a diagnosis, whatever it turns out to be. Don't let anyone tell you it is on in your head. Doctors are famous for that line especially if you are female. The folks on this site are incredibly knowledgable and will give you any help they can.
