Well for the last 4-5 days I have had severe pain when going to the bathroom and I had tried to contact my Neuro to see what I should do...not once did he return my call...I am sooooo frustrated with him so I think I am going to be looking for another Neuro.

anyways the pain got so bad yesterday that I had to go to the hospital, the pain was in my lower left back my side and as well as the front of me...well the thought of going to the hospital and waiting for 5-8 hours to be seen by a Dr was holding me back..but as soon as I told them my problem and that I have M.S. they took me in right away.

they took blood test and I had to pee in a bottle and they told me that I had blood in my urine
and the blood test came back with my whitecells being high..so my bladder infection turned into a kidney infection and so now I am on antibiotics for 10 days and I have to retest my urine...no wonder I was having a flare up...I just have to say never never never wait to get see to by a Dr for anything...our health is just not worth it....oh by the way the Dr was a very sweet person..and my over all time at the hospital was 2 hours and they got my blood test back in 20 mins!!!!!

Hi Annie,
I guess you have learned a valuable lesson, not to wait when you're in pain.  I'm so glad you were seen and are getting treated!  Please take care of yourself!  ((HUGS))

Bladder..and kidney infections are the pits. I hope you feel better soon. You might try bypassing your neuro next time, and head straight for your family physician. Sometimes they're much quicker than a specialist for something like this.
...I am not a doctor, nor health professional, and don't pretend to be one, here.....
