I have been doing well the past couple of months got my feeling back in my arm and leg.  Was able to go back to work for the ambulance.  The baclofen im on works wonders.  about 6 weeks ago, i was helping out a friend "hay" and fell through a bail.  My arms were a bloody mess.  7 days latter I ended up with systemic poison ivy.  I was miserable.  Ended up on prednisone agian.  I'm just starting to not itch any more.  Just small patches on my thighs.  Did you all know that one stem from a poison ivy plant can infect 10,000 people?....   WOW..  The doc thinks i got stabbed by a stem .  My arms and chest are scarred for life.
But just recently, my thyroid has dicided to crazy.  They had got me to 1.28 tsh, then I had to go for a re test, and it eneded up 71.34.  Looks like I have 2 adams apples. LOL  Past 5 days, I have had severe muscle cramps and joint pain.  This is every muscle and every joint.  I've also had "woowoo's" in my head.  Woowoo's =  Vertigo, dissiness, room really spinning, and my eyes doing the jig, all at the same time.  Focusing issues, and nausia, 24/7.  So anyhow doc has no clue.  Took more blood work today to check everything, included T3, T4, TSH, magnesium, and potassium.  Hopefully  I get some answers soon.  I see neurologist in Oct. for repeat MRI.
Hope all of you are doing ok.  Take care.

So sorry to hear about the poison ivy thing. Yes, for some folks, even walking *near* a poison ivy plant can cause a reaction. All the rest of the stuff you're dealing with is a bummer, too. I hope you start to mend, soonn.
