Hi everyone,
Just wanted to let you know that I have a referral to the large public hospital neurology dept. Found out today that the Protein in my LP was elevated! Nice of them to let me know!! My blood test came back in a mess, high sugar, liver function terrible, cholesterol over the top,(I take cholesterol tabs) should be in hospital by the look of the test! My GP was horrified! No more happy hour for me, I like the odd glass of wine over a meal looks like that is out!
Seriously though, my condition does seem to be deteriorating rather quickly so I am grateful that I have been sent to the main hospital. Hope I don't have to wait too long.
Hope everyone is doing ok
Off to bed now, 07.40pm 5th October here. Talk to you again soon

I'm sorry to hear all your insides are so awry! I'm lucky in that, although I have MS, I have low-normal blood pressure, no problems with cholesterol, no problems with liver, nor diabetes...other than the MS, way healthy (well...too many extra pounds....)

I hope they'll be able to figure out what's going on, during your hospital stay!
...I am not a doctor, nor health professional, and don't pretend to be one, here.....

Hi Cocoa,
I glad they gave you your results.  I'm sorry though, that you have so many abnormal results.  I sure hope they can figure it all out.

Please take care and let us know how you are.

Thanks everybody for your concern..........

Uppity, luv the extra pounds thing! lol

I know I'm not alone though through this forum, so many of us with no answers only a bunch of terrible symptoms and nobody will commit to the cause. Understandable of course but geez, what to do until then I ask?

My Doc yesterday said ok, give me all your symptoms and I will put that in the letter. That was no problem but then I asked her if there was any medication for the pins and needles thing and she said "I DON'T KNOW"
I know she is trying to find the problem but we just don't seem to be getting anywhere!

She said to me (tongue in cheek) "If I didn't know you better I would think you were on drugs." Well I am aren't I? All the drugs she prescribes for me!

Hey Rhonda, how is your daughter? I have been thinking of you........

Thanks to you Michelle

Everyone have a great weekend........Friday here now but only Thursday where you guys are.......is that right?

Hey Cocoa

I feel u'r frustration! Hang in there. Sounds like u'r doc is doing all she knows to do and is trying to get u to the proper experts for help. I don't know of any meds specifically for the pins and needles. I use cymbalta and it seems to help with that, among other things. It doesn't take it completely away, but help is help!

My daughter is better. Thanks for asking! She sees the doc on Tues and i'm hoping they'll just say she's growing too fast and nothing else is wrong. We shall see. Take good care...and enjoy u'r DAY!! ;) (it's Thurs night here!)
