Hello!

This is my first time posting on this forum, and I wanted to introduce myself to the group.

My name is Tracey Lynn, and I was diagnosed with RRMS in June 2004.  What a roller coaster things have been since then!  I am 32 years old, and I live in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada with my very supportive and loving husband and our 3 cats - my "children with fur".

I have the usual MS fatigue, which my friends and family don't seem to understand.  I take 2 Provigil pills almost every morning to help, but I still hear that I need to get more exercise, and that I need more fresh air - go for a walk!  It's driving me bonkers!

I'm currently taking Rebif, since January 2005.  I used to be very scared of needles but now I'm a pro!  cool   My parents still cannot watch me do my injections; it's almost like they're still in denial that I have MS and for them to actually see my doing an injection is too much for them.

I currently work 30 hours per week, and sometimes I feel so overwhelmed by everything in my life.  I feel like I need a month's vacation - time for me just to chill out and relax, but since that's not possible I'll just have to keep truckin' along.

I'm looking forward to meeting new friends and others who understand how I'm feeling and can relate to some of my MS problems.

Check out my website to see some pics of our incredible beach wedding, my life, and my MS diary at:  http://tracey-lynn-caissie.piczo.com Read the incredible entries in my guest book - people with MS from all over the world have signed it!

Ciao,
TLC

Hi Lysha,

Thank you so much!  I found this site yesterday, and I've read some of the posts - this seems to be a very friendly and supportive group of people.

My website is still a work-in-progress.  My goal was to eventually get 1,000 hits and since my site has been up for 1 year now, I've received over 6,800 hits!  Wow!  My goal is now get 10,000 hits (maybe someday).

Thanks for the welcome - I hope to get to know everybody better in the months to come.

Hi Tracey,

Welcome! I, too have joined only recently, and have found the support and information here incredible. I am also from Canada (Ontario), and loved your website.

I can relate to your feelings about the fatigue -- it is so hard for others to understand the magnitude of MS related fatigue and the fact that you have no control over it!

Hang in there, and welcome!

Hi everybody!

I'd like to thank everybody for your kind words.  It's so nice being able to chat with others who can understand some of what I am trying dealing with and who can understand the MonSter.

Things are challenging!  Every day seems to be a challenge for me just to keep motivated to do things.  My friends, family, and husband are supportive, but they do not completely understand.  When I'm tired, I hear that I need more exercise, that I should go for a walk.  Yeah, right!  I am taking Provigil, and I've started drinking coffee again (just for a little caffeine boost!).

Thanks again for your thoughtfulness and kindness.  It's much appreciated!
