Hello everyone.

I work and live with the mentally handicapped. I use to take care of a wonderful lady with cerebral palsy. She is non verbal and she doesn't have any functions really. She can't do ANYTHING by herself.

This lady still spends weekends with my family in our home. We have a jetted tub and one of her favorite things is to be in the water. I am looking for a lounge that will fit down into the tub. This way she can relax and enjoy the jets from the tub.

She only weighs 90lbs and is easy to transfer so I am not looking for something that helps with that. I have looked on the internet and all I can find is the shower chairs.

Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Lysha

Hi Lysha,

I think what you do for those people is wonderful Lysha!  See if any of these sites might be what youre looking for.  I did a search for bath chairs and came up with some things.

Thanks Kimber! I must have been searching the wrong thing. Sometimes I just can't think of the words I want/need to use.

I was pre med in college but because of an unexpected pregnancy I quit and never went back. I have always taken care of people and what I do now is so rewarding!! The lady that lives with me currently is my best friend!! My children have learned compassion and empathy in a way I never thought possible.

Thanks again and have a wonderful weekend!

Lysha
