Hello I am a newby, does anyone have seizures and what are they like for you. I had one in public, I could not move or speak, like in a trance and began to move my head and neck and forehead involuntary movements and could not stop for about 20 minutes.

Other occurances I had almost always had the same with involuntary movements and alot of neck stretching and I could not stop it no matter how much it hurt for three days. My ms started out with o.n. also just to note.

Does your doctor know about your seizures? There are meds you might try that can control them.

By the way, seizures can leave lesions on the brain and sometimes people have been diagnosed with MS when what was really going on was a seizure disorder (epilepsy), and not MS...and the reverse. If the doctor doesn't know about the seizures, you should be sure to call.

Some folks with MS do have seizures, but it's not very common with MS.
...I am not a doctor, nor health professional, and don't pretend to be one, here.....
