I am a little depressed a very fatigued today so I thought I would write a poem.

Will it go away

I awoke to a strange new feeling on my right side,

Actually it was more like no feeling

Threw my back out again

It will go away

It has been a couple days and no change

Off to the chiropractor

It will go away

Fourth day no change

Off to the family doctor, he will fix me

It will go away

The doctor tells me to go to the hospital

Tests and more tests

What is all the fuss about, it is just my back or a pitched nerve

It will go away

3 weeks now and it is gone

See, I knew it would go away

A couple months later I am terrified,

I see two of everything

Off to the family doctor again

Probably MS he says

This cannot be, this has to go away

The neurologist is staring at my MRI

Quite a number of lesions he says

Definitely MS he says

A lifetime of needles he says

This is not going away

I wonder if there will be a cure

Because I need it to go away.

Hey AnitaLynn

Awwww...don't be down. Unfortunately ms won't go away, but the depression and sadness will in time. Yes, chronic illness brings it's changes to u'r world...things u can't predict nor control for the most part...but it also brings some very wonderful things too. What?? Well look at the people here who care about u. The questions u have, others have had. The fears u have, others have had. U'r sadness is ours and u'r happiness is ours. How else would u have all of us to care for u but for the interruption to u'r life that ms brings. I'm not saying it's a blessing to have ms, but certainly blessings can come thru sadness and pain. I hope u'll be able to look upon this part of u'r life and find something that's very good to u. Feel better friend and have a Merry Christmas knowing we're thinking of u.
