Hey Uppity,

Wow, absoultley beautiful!!!! I make things with beads, lighted christmas trees and lace and beaded lamps, I also write poetry and hope one day to win money hahaha. I also like to read, of course all this takes time, when I have time. When I am short on time and want to get my mind off of this thingy we have I play a computer game. My boyfriend is a professional photographer and I have always loved to take pictures so sometimes we go n a picture shoot at the beach to watch the sunset. You can see his work at betterphoto.com and type in his name dean burke on the top right hnd corner (do not use drop downs).

Thanks for asking Uppity and love your doll houses!!!!!

I love dollhouses!!!  My gram started collecting Madam Alexander and Effanbee dolls for me when I was 5 years old, she got most of them at a doll store at Walt Disney World, Fl.  I have around 20 of them.  I really need to have a big curio made for them.  A close friend of mines grandfather built her a dollhouse when we were younger, it had a wrap-around porch, swing, and lighting.  It was so adorable, I used to love to go to her house to see it.  She still has it, were both 35, and her two daughters enjoy it alot.  I love wrap-around porches, I have one on my new home, its 94 ft. long total.  And I have my grams swing that I'm going to hang on the porch in the Spring.  Nice work uppity!!!!!!  Really enjoyed those pics!!!!!

I like to read and do crafts. Right now I'm hooked on crochet, but I also like any kind oh embroidery. Crosstitch is my favorite and I have made many gifts for family. I've been disabled since 1983 when I had my car accident and many times having something to take my mind off things saved my sanity. Embroidery and counted crosstitch is great because you have to concentrate on counting your stitches you don't have time to think about other things. I do anyway. (HA HA HA) My only problem is that now with the trouble with my eyes I have trouble doing these things. Does anybody know of anything that may help? I also am on the computer a lot and love to play the games. Right now Bounce Out and Collapse are my favs. I Haven't been able to get to that website yet uppity but I'm gonna try today. Have A Happy New Year everyone. BE SAFE AND HAVE FUN!!!

Bye!!!

Uppity I know I just posted, but I finally had a chance to go to ur website.  All I can say is BEAUTIFUL.  If u aren't an interior designer and architect u should be.  People tell me I do good work with Crosstitch and crochet but I was completly bowled over.(literally tongue tongue )
I can't think of enough words to discribe it.  I am originally from LA and when I was little My family went and toured an antebellum plantation house.  I was very young and don't remember much about it even the name.  Along one hallway behind glass was the childrens dollhouse.  It was huge and everything was in miniature.  I don't remember it being any more beautiful than urs and tho I can't renember the name I think it was done by someone famous.  WELL DONE AND KEEP IT UP!!!

Mesea, I do love that sort of handwork, too.  I didn't do much with cross-stitch, but did lots of needlepoint.  I never much liked the finishing part -- I finished the needlepoint OK, but then turning it into a pillow, picture, or some other item, just didn't appeal to me.  So I have a chest full of needlepoint...unfinished, unmounted, etc.

And I used to weave. I still have a 4-harness floor loom that I really should sell. I can't use it anymore...my legs aren't strong enough, nor coordinated enough to depress the harnesses...but I just don't want to part with it....yet...

Anyway..who has has hobbies or "outside interests"??
