Starting late last night, my right leg felt weak; I figured I'd sleep and see how I felt today.  My leg, knee down, feels somewhat weak and very stiff however there is no numbness and I can support my body's full weight on the leg alone.

As I've said before, I was diagnosed October 2005 have had no reason to return to the doctor.  The discovering exacerbation was pretty serious and it was obvious there was a problem, but I know all exacerbations won't be so obvious.  I'm not the type to run to the doctor everytime I feel a little funny.  I don't want to wait to long to call the doctor because she said we would try IV steriods when the next exacerbation starts.  I know you are supposed to start steriods at first sign.

What do you guys think???

Hey TheLight

I'm sorry u'r having more probs. It does sound like it could be spsticity, but the best thing to do is to call the doc and at least let her know. She may not feel it's a true flare, but even if she does it may not make her want to jump to the steroids just yet. To be on the safe side...and if this is a new or worsening of an old symptom...it'd be best to go ahead and call her. I hope u begin to feel better and this doesn't last long. Please let us know how u are and what u'r doc says if u decide to call her.
