Happy Valentine's Day to all of you, too! It was 41 years ago today that my husband formally proposed to me (gave me a ring; we knew we were going to marry at our second day, 2 years prior!), so Valentine's Day is always pleasant :)

Happy Valentine's Day to all of you!

V day has always been a wonderful day for me too! My adoption became final on V day of 1991. My mother abandoned me and left me in a trailer for months when I was 13. My dad, step mom and brother rescued me on Christmas of 1988 and my step mom adopted me and it was final on V day of 91. Years later I would be rescued again by my dad and mom from an abusive jerk, again on V day.

Love goes out to all of you on this wonderful day!

Happy Valentine's day to all of you as well!  We're pretty much homebound due to all the snow but I'll probably make a nice cake or something :-) Hope you all enjoy your day!

I had to jump on the bandwagon and wish all of you a happy V-day, too!
I stayed home from work today because of the ice storm and had a grand day spending time with my daughter. She is my little valentine - :-)

I guess I'll be "Band Wagon Jumper #2" and say Happy V day to each and every one of you. I keep hearing the stories of all the snow and storms and am just blown away by it! I live in Sacramento California and the weather was like 65ish today. I even wore open toed sandles! WHAT a difference a few miles makes huh? I wish I could share my sunshine with each of you. I'll share my prayers instead!:-) I know what they can do. Did someone say cake? I just realized after my usual 3 hour nap that I'm starving. Not sure the hubby (who's not even home yet from his referring yet) would go for cake though. LOL!! Happy V-Day and stay healthy, happy and warm! There are people out there who actually care about each and everyone on here, and it's me!!

MSBLESSED,

I live on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. I don't understand snow and ice too much either. We had a real cold day. It was about 50degrees. That's really cold for us.

Hey Y'all ;)

Sheila, u've not had the warm weather we had. I'm about 90 miles north of Sheila and on Tues it was 78 here!! Yesterday and today, tho, it's been 36. Back and forth...such is the weather down here til it settles into the HOT, HUMID summer. We have really easy winters (comparitively..but not so easy to us!) but we pay dearly for it in the summer!

My poor little puppy was outside this morning and because of all of the snow all I could see of him was his tail LOL.  Oh how I long for flip flop weather, even 30 degrees would be a heat wave huh Denda!!!

Well this makes very bizaare reading....over the past couple of days I've felt as though you guys are in my lounge, having a chat and a cuppa with me.  Yet here you all are talking about the place s you live over the other side of the world!

I'm in little old New Zealand, and it's gorgeous weather.  Great for swimming in the lake and barbecues etc.

It must sound strange to you guys but I've never really had much experience with snow.  Definately intend to travel one day, and spend sometime in a snowy climate.

Cheers

kas

New Zealand sounds beautiful kas! It's so neat to be able to meet people from all over the world with so much in common!

Yes, Kimber, I have 2 huge dogs, a husky mix and a golden retreiver and both barely get off the deck, touch the snow and want back in! :o) I'll take 30 degrees right now!

Sheila beware of invites, you never know who might be knocking at your door tomorrow morning! :o)
