Hello Again

Well it’s been about 12 months since i last posted and had hoped that I didn’t have to worry about the MS thing any more.  I have been really well for so long apart from just minor stuff that  didn’t bother me but it seems what ever this is decided to come back and annoy me again.

I started a few weeks ago with such painful legs, mostly behind the knees.  My right one seems worse than the left but I noticed that if I have them bent for more than a few minuets I can hardly straighten them again because of the pain. Does any one have that?

Then the vibrating started up again and got stronger and stronger each day, some nights I would just cry because it was so strong and then I couldn’t sleep.  I felt like the whole bed is shaking and it also felt like there was a party going on inside my body which felt scary.  My legs feel wobbly when the vibrating is strong, neck pain, shoulder pain, weakness in all limbs, prickly heat feelings, buzzing, heat sensitive, white light in eye, etc.

Do you think this could be a relapse?  I am just so up set because I thought I was over all this stuff and really didn’t want to get back on the doc/neuro merry go round again.

All my tests were normal last time and it cost me a lot of money to find out nothing, do you think i should go back to the doc or just wait.  Would love some advise.

Thanks

Hey Barbie!

I've been thinking about u lately! I was just wondering how u were, so sorry to hear u'r having probs again. It sounds like u've had a long reprieve and now it's back. I don't know if it'd be time to go back to the doc yet or not, but i'd certainly be putting it in my journal. Seems u'r having a lot going on all at once. If it continues or if u need pain meds u'll prob have to see the doc. I've had the vibrating, but nothing like u describe. Sounds like u'rs is really tough! The pain behind u'r knees could be spascicity. I'm not sure of the white light in u'r eye! It well may be a relapse. How long has it been going on continuously?? To be honest, if i were in u'r shoes...i'd be calling my doc to report and see what he says. He may want to repeat the mri since it's been so long. Sorry, not too much help tonight...the day is catching up with me! U take care..and it's great to hear from u...i'm sorry it's under these circumstances, but still glad to hear from u. Take care and let u know how u'r doing.

Wow, that sounds really rough.

If it was me I'd go to the doctor.

Hi Barbie,

It's good to hear from you again, but I wish it wasn't for this reason.  If its pretty much the same as last time, or with new things involved I'd definately at least call the doctor and report it and see what they say.  At the very least they can get it documented.  Sounds like you're having a pretty rough time of it though, I don't think I would wait.   Hope you feel better soon.

Hi there.  Sorry to hear things are not going well right now for you.  Have you thought about seeing an optomitrist about your eye issue.  You would be surprised what they can see once your dialited.  I'm not sure about the fee where you are, but if your vision ever goes black, be sure to get to a doc right away.  Take care of yourself.
