Hi All,
I have had a really horrible end to my week.  I had chest and upper abdomen pressure all week and wehn I went to my gp Thursday she thought it was related to the MS or constipation or both.  She drew labs and did an ekg but told me to call my neuro and Gi docs.

Her nurse called me Friday Afternoon and told me my liver enzymes were elevated...not as high as before but creeping back up, and also my white count was still low.  I tried to call all my docs and finally my gi's nurse called and said that he wouldn't be in until Monday and if it got worst to go to ER.  My uro ended up calling me last evening and said she had talked with GI and they wanted me to go to ER.  So off we went.  She met us there and I had to drink 32 oz of CT dye and drew blood.  The cT showed my upper colon was completely full.  The GI doc wanted me to stay and take golytely but I said no.  I am still miserable today so I called my uro back and she said for me to come tomorrow after church to be directly admitted for the golytely and meds to keep me comfortable.  They are very concerned about a blockage.  One major thing,  this uro is an angel, she stayed with me the entire 3 hours in the er and talked, gave me her pager number and told me she would handle a direct admit etc...one in a million!

So there's my update,. I don't know what else to say, I am always having something wrong.  I hope they figure out what it is.  Also, mt neuro is at this hospital so maybe I'll be able to see her and address the cognitive and speech decline.

Rhonda, I'll be thinking about you, we'll be drinking that junk together.! eyes

OOOOOooooohhhh Michelle!!!

I"m so sorry!! U'r just trying so hard to be well and get past all this, yet it keeps hitting u hard. Snowballing this time with old and current enemies? U'll fight and win this battle tho..and in no time u'll be back here telling us how u'r sweet doc took such gentle care of u! Isn't it funny how God puts just who we need in just the right places at just the right times? He sure seems to have done it with u'r doc and i'm so glad she's turned out to be such a gem. U let them do all they need to help u feel better and hopefully it won't take too long, but if it does don't it's ok. Just get better and feel good! Does this mean the Interstim isn't working at all or could the possible blockage be so bad it's just too much for the Interstim to control??? U always have my prayers...such special prayers for a special person...but piled up high especially now! I'll be thinking of u as we 'enjoy' our drinks together....cheers?? sad
