Hi all,

this question came up briefly in chat today....how do you know the difference between spasticity and a cramp?? confused

I have found one site that's quite interesting...
....but if anyone has any more specific information, related to MS I'd really appreciate it!

Thanks

Kas

BTW: it also mentions Fasciculations, which I think is the "aggressive twitching" that I was talking about??

Not diagnosed

Hey Kas

WOW...what a great site!! Very easy to read and understand. As i understood, the diff in Spasticity and muscle cramps is in how the muscle behaves and prob what muscle group(s) is affected. So the more severe behavior would be attributed to spasticity, tho they are both very painful. Also, the info on Fasciculations was great! Really clear and answered some questions for me. I see now what u meant by aggressive. Thnks sooo much for posting this and i'm sorry the question wasn't resolved for u in chat. This is really interesting information and i'll be revisiting it again for further understanding.
