Not sure if this is MS related or not....let me know if any of you have experienced this:

It all started Sunday with an extra dose of fatigue and an ms hug in my chest and torso area. I've had these before in this area, usually they last a few hours. Well, this one has been going now for two days on and off. Combined with on and off nausea, dizziness and cramping. Can't get to far from the bathroom either since Sunday as well. I can't sleep....keep waking up with an urgent need to get back to the bathroom. I just woke up for the second time since about 11pm, with a racing heart to go with my need for the bathroom. The good news is that I'm getting caught up on all those magazine subscriptions I signed up for.

I haven't eaten anything out of the ordinary or done anything out of the ordinary (except I did spend about $250 on shoes...maybe this is buyers remorse?). The only thing I can think of is the night before all this started I had two glasses of wine. I haven't had any alcohol in about a year, with the exception of a sip here and there. But wow...could that really be affecting me almost three days later? I have had an increase in my stress level this month, perhaps my body has just been pushed.

I have a job interview tomorrow and I don't know how I'm going to make it through if I feel like this.

Could you be experiencing a bladder infection?  Have you checked to see if you have a fever? Bladder infections aren't always apparent by itching and burning, but many of your other symptoms suggest that as a possible cause of your feeling poorly.  You might want to call your doctor and be tested.

It's not my bladder that's causing the frequent bathroom trips. It's the, uh, other end. :) If this continues through today, though, I probably should get in to see someone. I probably just have a stomach bug. It just kind of threw me for a loop when I was so weak and had the 'hugging' going on too. Although I guess it's possible to have two different things going on at once. :)

The up side to all this is that since I couldn't get a wink of sleep, I was able to watch the lunar eclipse. I'd never seen one before. AND I saw a shooting star...never seen one of those before either. So despite the fact that I feel like complete and utter crap, my spirits are quite high. It was really neat.

Yep, does sound like a stomach bug.  I find that whenever I get sick with something else -- and particularly have a fever -- whatever MS symptoms I have will worsen, making me feel doubly lousy.  Be sure to drink plenty of fluids, and sometimes aspirin or ibuprofen will make you feel better.

I didn't catch this lunar eclipse, but did see one some years ago. They really are spectacular!  I'm glad the night wasn't a total loss!  ;)
