Not really sure if I should be here or not, but I have been having some problems with my eyes as well as other things that seems to come and go. I know I have diabetes II and anxiety but the anxiety seems to be in check without any P/A's as well as my diabetes levels but for the past year or so upon waking up if I move my eyes from side to side I would get a shocking sensation and pain in the back of my eyes. Fatigue that sometimes can take days to recover from, tightness in my chest along with pain but there are times that I can feel little pain like after I tried cutting my finger off with a saw blade and my right leg been giving out on me when walking or just getting up and my night vision is so bad without some kind of light I fall down like I'm stinking drunk and I have tremors in both legs and hands that tend to come and go but I know this is different from the anxiety symptoms but the eye thing has really got me wondering so I guess I just wanted to run this past ya'll and see what you think about it.

Hey Freezing!

It's so good to see u! I'm sorry u'r having all these probs!! Have u consulted u'r doc about any of this?? Of course the first suggestion i'd make to u would be to do that...see u'r pcp and just get a full exam and get on record what's going on with u. He/she may suggest u see a neurologist who can then take it a step (or two) further and get some more revealing testing going. Some of the things u mention do sound like ms type symptoms, but as i'm sure u'r aware, can also be many other things. Since u say the anxiety is in check, i'd next look at the possibility of the diabetes causing any of this. Also, i'd suspect something as seemingly benign as a migraine. I've come to realize that migraines can cause all sorts of probs in u'r body...probs that seem to have nothing to do with a headache! Also...u can have a migraine and NOT have any pain or have very little. A neurologist would be the doc to see for that as well. Take really good care friend and let us know what u decide to do and how u'r doing...and Welcome to the MS board!!

  Thanks rhondab,

I do see my doc every 3 months for blood work for my diabetes, but I have asked my Dad about this as he is in the finally stages of diabetes and had said that some of it sounds like symptom's of diabetes while others he has not hear of but at one time I did have a mri done that had shown damage to my nervous system and was told that I my have problems with it later in life. There are so many symptom's that I have that mimic ms but as we all know a lot of symptoms are the same in some way's with other disorders.

Even so, there are many times I can hardly write my own name or hold some thing without spilling it or dropping it but the list dose go on and on, but I have read the MSDS sheets on the chemicals that I have worked with have shown to cause CNS damage, Anxiety and MS in some ppl with long term exposure, I guess my next step we be to talk to my doc about this.

Hi freezing,

Good luck with the doctor and please let us know what you find out.  You might also want to consider seeing an opthamologist about the eye issues.  It might be something related to the diabetes, but it is very important that you get that looked into just to be on the safe side.  I hope things improve for you.

After going though so many posts and finding a thing on brain zaps that lead me back to HW from the net lol and I'm finding out more and more of the same symptoms I have odd maybe lol but I do have a Q on fatigue

If I over do it I'm down for days but I have found that when on pain meds I can go on for days working and the same thing if I have a few beers but without these stimulant's (sp) I go down hill fast and need to rest more and not over do it, dose any of this sound similar to you?
