cool Well I am back out on the road again. The doctor released me to go back to work and now I am in New York and goin after another load in New Jersey. I did not think it would be this soon after my surgery that I could work again but the doc says that I should not have any problems out here. He also told me that my reversal of the ileostomy is now "elective", meaning, i can have it done at my convenience. I think I will wait till at least May before having the reversal.

I am so glad to back at it again. I went out and bought a glass jar with a clamp type lid on it to "take care of business" in. So far it has worked great. The only embarassing thing is mt-ing it out. I have to find a place where no one will really notice and dump it out. Under the trailer works good or between the tires maybe. I don't want to take it into a restroom and have to explain it to some one so don't think I am being gross or something. nono

I'm just happy to be able to make money again and pay my bills. Disability pay does not do much for them.

Clyde,

Hey what great news!!!  How's things going for you?  Are you tiring easily?  Are you watching your diet and not eating hard to digest foods?

Good luck to you!

Praying:

The only reason I use the jar is for being able to mt while my co-driver ( I drive team with another driver in the truck, namely my mother) is driving and can't stop at a rest stop or a truck stop all the time. But when I'm driving then it's to the restroom to take care of business.

Peggy:

I don't tire as much as I would have expected to but it took me a short couple of days to get back into the routine of driving a truck. After that I think I can drive my usual hours like I use to before the surgery. As for the diet, well I can eat pretty much anything I use to but I try not to eat those foods near as often. I have not eaten beef near as much as I did and I have eaten more fish and chicken. They don't smell as bad as beef does!!!

I thank you all for all the kind words and don't worry, I will be safe out here. I have too!!! tongue
