I was foolish enough to eat stir-fried vegetables and seeded bread today.. and now my stoma is kinda tickling! Not in a bad way, just... funny, as BM pass through it! Do any of you guys get that? Always makes me laugh for some reason.

Yeah, random post but no one else I know could possibly have an idea of what I'm on about :P

I feel that tickling thing a lot. Sometimes I feel nothing, but I often feel stuff come out. It is not unpleasant, just kind of weird. It doesn't seem to matter what I am eating.

I totally get that feeling!  Mostly when I eat any kind of veggies (chopped up of course) and they seem to come out in the same shape they go in. It's frustrating cuz I want to scratch! :)

I have to fess up ---- I don't get the "tickling" feeling often at all, but when I do, it catches me off guard cause I've had my ileostomy so long that I do forget about it. When that weird feeling happens, it's usually from eating something pretty fibery. It's almost like the area right around the very base of the stoma is the area that has that "tickling" sensation; or something like that!!!

Heh, I have to say the like, gurgling it makes can be kinda comforting.. like I have insomnia, and lying and hear it occasionally do something can be kinda soothing.. maybe that's just me though! :)
